Tzatziki Sauce with Turkey Meatballs & Naan

I recently got my Mediterranean kick going on in the kitchen and with the warmer weather coming, this easy dish is refreshing on those hotter days. If you are unsure or never heard of Tzatziki, click here. I decided to serve the Tzatziki with Turkey meatballs but it goes with other meats and sides, and of course you can’t go wrong with Naan bread.

Directions:

  1. Drain any liquid from the yogurt and place in medium mixing bowl.
  2. Grab cucumbers and dice, shred or do what you like.
    1. If you want diced: Peel Cucumbers and slice lengthwise into quarters. Cut out the seeds in the middle and dice remaining. Alternatively you could use a food processor or blender for 3-5 seconds.
    2. If you want shredded: Peel cucumbers in slices until seeds are exposed. Throw or eat remaining seeds.
    3. Else: Do your own thing
  3. Place cucumbers and the rest of ingredients in bowl and mix. Consistency should be smooth, if there is too much liquid you may have to drain in cheesecloth for a couple minutes before serving.
  4.  Serve with Naan bread and Turkey Meatballs.Chill before serving.  Serves 2-4 people.
